Excel video tutorial that describes how to enter data into cells that contain drop down menus using data validation. This method teaches you how to be able to enter data into a data validated drop down menu cell that is not contained within the drop down menu. Basically, you will be able to enter values that are not contained in the drop down menu into a cell with a drop down menu. This allows you to simply use the data validation drop down menu feature in Excel in order to make entering values in cells easier for users while at the same time not preventing them from entering other values.
