Thanks to www.societyofrobots.com my son and I have built our first "differential drive robot, using the photovore algorithm, with photoresistors, capable of basic object avoidance." The web site has complete instructions to build the robot and a very active user forum with many helpful folks willing to lend a hand when troubles arise. This is a simple video showing the fruits of our labors. If you want to learn how to build one just like it, visit Society of Robots!

  • Thanks!

  • are you controlling it with a remote ?

  • Hello: There is no remote. The robot is designed to react to light. So it avoids shadows and drives toward bright areas.
