I agree with these comments, these actors and characters brought magic to the show. I can't believe they got rid of the vets...why not get rid of the writers get ones who understand the character history. I miss SN & MB ,,,,,,Steve and Kayla had a beautiful love story.

No I meant that Steve and Jack HATED EACH OTHER with a burning passion because Jack was first class jackhole. It was some of the best acting I've seen on the show. This is when the show was at one of it's best. In later years, when Steve and Jack got married for the 2nd time, Jack and Steve had reconciled. Even as I type, this brings tears to my eyes because DOOL has seemed to lost this magic. :-)

The hated years? Oh, you mean from Corday's point of view! I thought these were some of the very best years of this show. And ITA how the actors brought out the best in each other. There were so many unresolved storylines involving the vets, but one of the one I most wanted to see, was Jack and Steve working things out. So sad that the show never pursed it. I remember when Steve died, I was so sad for Jack never reconciling with his big brother. Missed Opportunity--Again.

Not sure if he was being sincere or not. I think he was trying to make up for everything, this was in 1989

What Jack being sincere here? About Jo and wanting to take Steve out and discuss a job? What year was this?

Thank you for posting these scenes...it's such a shame what they've done to DOOL now.
How in the hell did MaryBeth Evans get to be even more beautiful now than she was here? She was/is one of the most radiant, gorgeous actresses ever to grace the TV screen, and I miss her and Steve, and all the other vets. This show BLOWS without them.

This is such a great scene. It is amazing when you can feel so strongly for each character even while they are at odds. You are right - each actor gives such a good performance and that is what makes the scene so compelling.
And I love it when Steve tells Kayla in the end that all he can believe is her. It is a small moment, but in encapsulates such a core aspect of the S&K relationship and Steve's character.
