Even faster is when you jump and land both feet at the same time and throw. It makes two move instead of three the jump, land on back foot then stepping to front to the throw. The pick off this guy shows is for timing. To leave the runner flat footed, caught off gaurd. Still good.

the best way to pick is to separateyour hands out of the glove slightly before moving your feet gives you a good advantage along with bringing the ball to your ear instead of all the way back like he does in his video. also buckling your right knee while bringing your hand out of the glove then picking, a balk move, is the best way to pick someone off or atleast making them lean towards the base until they know for sure you are going to the plate
