On May 5 1991, in Mount Pleason, Washington DC a rookie police officer shot a Salvadorian man by the name of Daniel Enrique Gomez. Immediately a riot took place as a result of police brutality against the Washington DC's biggest Salvadorian community.

  • I remember this like it was yesterday. I was 15 years old and in High School. Me and a Buddy caught the Metro into the City and were outside of the taped off section just before the Cops were about to fire tear gas.
