Les sirènes international/US sont déjà autorisées sur les véhicules d'urgence en France...
En as:
Police National (sur les "arroseuses")
Certaine Police Municipal
Certain SAMU/SMUR

@SkibbyDenmark It depends on who you talk to. Many agencies have done saftey studies on amber light and the effect on traffic safety when used along with other colors. Many places such as California and New York states have made is a requirement.

In the US most emergency vehicles have atleast one amber light rear facing and flashing at all times.

@Quickcall I believe that it is a national standard for ambulances but not for police or fire vehicles. You'll have to check on that. In California it is mandatory for all police cars which is why you always see california police cars with at least one amber light facing rearward.

@code3paris Its not quite a standard but more of a practice. For ambulances an amber light usually placed in the rear center of the vehicle. For fire and police vehicles, and amber light is usually placed on the drivers side rear facing. You'll also commonly see directional arrow sticks on some vehicles such as the one in this video. Rear amber lighting is mandatory also for New York State emergency vehicles.

@Quickcall It appears that there are federal regulations for ambulances that exhibit the "Star of Life" -- see "Emergency Lighting System Configurations," Google "Federal specification for the Star of Life Ambulance."
