Sunrise (1927), Famous Scene.

Sunrise is full of impressive scenes, but this is one of the most famous ones in the movie, where the woman from the city convinces her love to try to drown his wife and leave with her. There are some very impressive effects in this scene.

This film is so hauntingly beautiful, this being one of the scenes in particular that sweeps me up and captures my imagination. These images are so magical and dream-like; so evocative that I cannot imagine anyone today trying to recast this film (such would be the pity).

Thank you so much for adding this here for everyone to see. It's a rare treasure.
