Faces of Doom by: Mr.Rocket

This is the Doomguy HUD/statusbar face that I re-drew a couple years back.
It's based on the original DooM face which I decided to recreate as a hi-res version.
It's 42 frames @ about 120x pixels. The originals were @ 24x pixels by: Id software for the Doom game.
When I re-made these, they were for a modern Doom source engine called Jdoom, by the Doomsday team. ~ as the originals were very pixilated under hardware acceleration and needed an overhall. ~ to not clash so much with everything else being hi-res in-game.
The Doom2 map18 music recreation is by: Ashley Carr which was also originally by: id software's Bobby Prince.

The animation frames are meant to be displayed at a 4x smaller scale by the game engine.

I think the fact that Doomguys faces becomes demonic as he takes damage really adds to the depth of the game.

Hell knight shoots you from the left, doomguys face turns left in anger all bloodied and frustrated. Doomguy shoots a BFG at the hellknight.

And not a single fuck was given that day.

@LastStandBro I use Dosbox to run it on mine, but if that's too complicated, try the online flash version, it's identical to the original game in every way
