On the other hand I've heard of Indians with tribal cards who exploit their status for monetary gains.I'm not going to mention any names but a friend of mine had a bad experience a person who was charging for Inipi,Vision Quest,and Peyote Ceremonies.This so called "medicine man" did pay for it

and eventually ended up losing alot of his financial wealth.Much of which was

acquired from people in Europe and the USA. Poor fools willing to believe anything! It's a shame!

@Puishawe So true But also remember that there are 100's of other like Ray that have not been stopped. I have seen them. Most after $ or women or both and using the Sacred Inipi as the bait.

I have watched every minute of the trial since its start (Yes I am infatuated with this case) There has been no proof that those people died from anything other than heat stroke. His defense is trying to grasp at anything they can including carbon monoxide/dioxide and organophosphates. But there was no actual flame in the tent, only heat. So everyone with a brain knows it was the heat (Pro's say so) Like O.J Simpsons defense, they will try anything to get him off the charges. But he will pay!

It's common knowledge that the is no charge for sweats or any ceremony for that matter.It's not against protocol to compensate a sweat leader or traditional healer

with gifts of food,tobacco,blankets,clothes,­gift cards,cash,etc. However, they are

strictly forbidden to ask for payment in any shape or form.Anyone asking for money should be avoided.it's a no-brainer,people. FYI, I don't have a tribal card!
