  • @martinreynolds1 This was a comedy skit!!! It was not real!!! Wake up!!!

  • ... long way down from 1930's Hollywood this, all the tattiness of the 1950s & Flynn out of luck & money & forced to scrape the botttom of the barrel for some short change : (

    Thx for uploading

  • Surely the fact that he didn't hide his real voice must have been a give away!

  • Loved Steve Allen and the real Tonight Show. Great to see the comics he used regularly on his show. Errol Flynn looked like an old man due to his heavy drinking, etc. Such a handsome man to ruin his looks so young and dying a year later due to his lifestyle.

  • Sounds like Don Adams was doing Maxwell Smart before there even WAS a Maxwell Smart!

  • @bagoona It's not Polly Bergen in this clip. It's actress, Rita Gam pretending to be Bergen (from actual TTTT show).

  • It's actress, Rita Gam pretending to be regular panelist, Polly Bergen. Other than both being female, there is little resemblance. Though much closer than Raye as Carlisle!

  • For the record, the two bogus Flynns are Louis Nye and (obviously) Don Knotts. The panelists are Polly Bergen, Tom Poston, Martha Raye and Don Adams. Trivial note: Poston was the original choice for the role of Maxwell Smart, which of course eventually went to Adams.
