Damn, this sounds exactly like the studio version on the Gold Expanded album. I've seen Steely Dan live six times and never got to hear this song. Thanks for posting!

I always loved this tune. Saw Steely Dan a few months ago- great show, but they didn't play this. Steve Khan's solo on the studio version is awesome.

If you kind find a copy of Steely Dan Gold cd, the credit is listed on it. I'm still trying to find the credit list for the Royal Scam. I know most just by listening, but Can't decide on You Did It. Carlton? Dean Parks maybe? Dean Parks on Here At The Western World.
