can u tell me exactly what the jazzmutant does? I'm thinking it can be used as a drum machine, etc. How did you use a vocoder?

The Lemur can be every controller you want it to be. It doesnt make the music, but send control signals to your DAW (here Ableton Live 8.1) using Midi or OSC. You can build your controlsurfaces pretty much like using powerpoint (graphical editor).
The vocoder is triggered by the "Scalomat" - a special Masterkeyboard (see videos on my channel)
