  • Good stuff...But, I think it might be west coast.. We are still pretty strong in the east.

    Theatre Rules!

  • Geez Methos you're in New York....we'd die to be in New York. Shanola brings up moving there every 6 months.

I think it may be the west coast because off off off off off off off broadway sell out. Everytime I go to a show out here, it's not that big of a crowd. And I have NOTHING to audition for...EVER.

But, I was extremely happy with this audience as well as this performance.

  • Good point!! My grandmother said to me one time that by taking the arts out of public schools it will trickel down into the adult world and will affect and effect us. She said people have the me right now way of thinking. Meaning if it's not affecting ME RIGHT NOW then no worry. But...it will. In time it will. There is nothing like going to see a play in your own neighborhood. A play that can cost you $20 maybe but in NYC its $100 to see the same play. And I love musicals!!

  • True.. I'm taking my son for his 17th bday this weekend to see West Side Story. I hear the new production is unreal and they are singing some of the songs in Spanish which should be great.

  • Excellent Message! :)

  • Cool stuff Miss Shango

  • very nice!!

  • Theatres used to survive on grants. NEA grants have become virtually impossible to try to obtain, so theatres have turned to corporate funding. We know what happens when large corporations run everything -- recession depression
