Does anyone know where I could learn this stuff? All the sites I find are for places outside the US. I'm REALLY interested. I would prefer a place near Florida.

There are all historical technques, designed mostly for _unarmoured_ combat. In armour, one goes to a "half-sword" grip with the left hand on the blade, basically using the sword like a spear, or one can reverse the sword entirely, with both hands on the blade to use like a warhamer, impacting with the pommel or grossguard.

No. You need a teacher. You will develop poor habits.
