  • Rip Lou

  • @spinemelter2000 Yes, it was. Back in the '70s/early '80s, Lou had a longer beard and would use the rubber bands to tie the hair strands together. In this particular video, Lou didn't really need them.

  • @moneyme17 They didn't need the belts to get over with the fans. They wanted to keep Roddy in singles as an enemy to Hulk Hogan.

  • @Lfdjake91 That could've happened; but Windham and Rotunda decided to jump ship. They didn't like the cartoonish direction WWF(E) was going at the time.

  • "Hello peasants!" LOL

  • I would have loved to seen a match between Widham & Rotundo and Piper & Orton.

  • Roddy Piper and Bob Orton should've gotten a run as Tag Team Champions. Why Vince and Co. didn't let it happen is anyone's guess ? Great heel combination and they would've been great Tag Team Champions.

  • Nothing this good on tv today

  • I wasn't a wrestling fan when this took place, so I only know about Lou Albano as Mario. Can anyone tell me what's with the rubber bands? Is it just part of his eccentric wrestling costume?
