  • I love this series, but I wish they weren't wearing black T-shirts with a black background.

  • well, I guess we already covered the black tshirt on the black curtains thing. It`s a problem.

  • Coming from a Polish, trains dance hall, I really want to learn belly dancing and these videos help me a base to explore this great dance.... =D

  • hey there. she is a great teacher and i give her credit for it. unfortunately, she has belly dancing (cabaret style) mixed up with egyptian folklore. they are not the same.

  • so what mabey she is showing us the way she was taught

  • sorry. but in Egyptian Folklore, there is no such thing as the belly pop. it is strictly a belly dance move. AND Egyptian Folklore, is NOT the same as belly dancing, so take off the first name!! very instulting indeed.

  • She is slowing it down so that beginners can grasp the basic movement. Also, the move can be very fluid or very sharp depending on the music and the dancer's own personal style.

  • When I learned this move, you could see the teachers stomach and I think that's important. I always wear a short top to make sure my middle section moves are correct. She is barely moving her torso back and forth, it's supposed to be fast paced with an actual "pop".
