  • @koko8maroco Try 'Roots' it was a popular television movie

  • Followed the original story all right; A good example in how to bring in any "fine piece of writing" into the big screen with only "fine production team" so able to "pick up the same tune"; Fine actress too I should dating her once I got fully recover!!

  • Im currently reading this now! I actually like it! Can't wait to see the movie again!

  • @elmando5 But Gone with the Wind doesn't have a fight with an ostrich in it!

  • @Artfreakxxx I just read the book and I can hardly wait to watch the movie, although I'm sure the book is 100x better. I'm 17 and I've been told to read this for three years. I fully agree with you on this book. :)

  • @koko8maroco best slavery movie (well its more like a mini TV series) that you can get on DVD is "Roots". I think it was made sometime in the 80s but I'm not certain. It is excellent. Its educational, dramatic and accurate. I'm in the search for these DVDs myself. I guarantee you will not be disappointed. it is a fantastic series.

  • "Drippy Ashley Wilkes?" Well, I don't know about any other female here, but Leslie Howard was a pretty damn gorgeous piece of man meat to me, even if he was a tad old for the part.

  • can someone recommen any slavery movie? am intersted in this subject and i'd like to know more about it

preferbly newer movies? like after the 60's?

or before it doesn't really matter

  • I bought this for my mother on Blu-Ray for Mother's Day. This film is wonderful. Simply one of the bestest movies of all time.
