  • the thing that dancer is wearing on his back is awesome. this also reminds me of the akira soundtrack....and crash bandicoot ^__^

  • This reminds me of tribal music for an important tribal ritual by a tribe that evolved on the Earth 5,000 years after the mass extinction, and this is the music they invented, because they found, buried in the rubble, many of Harry's instruments.

  • This is a shortened version, I guess.... the version on "The Music of Harry Partch" is twice as long.

  • pity that this is still hard to listen to after alll these years... whether that's because Partch didn't have is theory quite right or because our ears haven't adjusted is hard to say. But there will never be another genius like Partch in the world.

  • i was only there for the last two decades of it... wasn't really all that, but i hear a lot of neat things happened right before i was born

  • Is this recent? Somebody is out there playing Partch's music again?

  • an incredible culmination of genius - genius music, genius choreo, genius design, genius exectuion - what a treat! Thank you for posting this, wish I could jump in a time machine and go to the show. What a century the 20th was...

  • What a masterpiece!

  • GREAT!
