After Effects: Easy extruded text

Create extruded text and shapes easily in After Effects CS3 using the shape tool and the repeater effect. There might be other ways of doing this, but this is a nice, simple trick.

You mean how do I make the screen recording? I use FrontCam. Camtasia is better, but FrontCam is free. It doesn't record its video in sync with sound, in my experience, but it can easily be corrected. I then edit the captured video in Premiere before importing into AE to add the pans and zooms etc. Hope that helps.

or u can use CamStudio.. its a freeware solution even for a commercial use.. ;)
