Pushing Me Away (A Jonas Story) Ch.16

"What the..." "Hey Bella!" "Am I in the twilight zone or something?" Everyone besides Bella started cracking up.

Kevin: Well we were playing Rock Band.
Mariel: But they wouldn't let me and Val join in.
Val: So Kevin challenged Mariel to a duel.
Nick: If Kevin won,
Joe: The girls would have to come to two concerts.
Mariel: If I won,
Val: The boys would paint their toenails. *giggles*
Bella: Kevin, do you even KNOW who Mariel's dad is?
Kevin: *sad face* yeah I found out today. But I didn't know she was THAT good at Rock Band! It was a steall I tell you!
Mariel: It was your idea.
Bella: That pink polish looks good on you guys.
Guys: BE QUIET Bella!
Bella: *laughs* Let me in on the game. I wanna play while they paint. *smirks*

But before Bella can add the microphone to the game play, Bella's cell phone rings. "Hello?"

???: Hi Bella, this is Miranda Cosgrove. I was wondering what you were doing tonight.
Bella: Well, I'm going on tour with my boyfriend tomorrow, so I can't stay out too late.
Miranda: Well I just wanted to have dinner with you. I was hoping if you could help me write a song on my album.
Bella: Oh! Of course I'll help you! If you're not busy right now I'm free.
Miranda: Ohkay, I'll meet you at Pick up Stix. You like Chinese right?
Bella: More like love. I adore the chow mein there. I'll see you in ten.
Miranda: Ohkay, bye.

Bella: I gotta go guys. I have to meet Miranda Cosgrove and write a song with her. Bye everyone!
Nick: If you keep writing with people, you're gonna have to write with us sometime.
Bella: *laughs* I'm going on tour with you guys! We have plenty of writing time. *smiles* See you all tomorrow.

Bella walks back to her house to get her car, and then drives to Pick up Stix.

Miranda: Hi, nice to meet you. *hugs* please sit.
Bella: *sits down and laughs* so why me?
Miranda: Well your mom is producing most of my album, and she mentioned you write. I wanted to see if I could get better material than what I'm writing now, so I thought if you could help me cowrite this song, it would be awesome.
Bella: Sure, anything for the love of music. What's the concept?
They talk for hours while eating and finished Miranda's song. Thankfully she brought a notebook or else the song would be finished on napkins. "That was fun! Let's go over it once more."

Bella: Thank you! I hope I can work with you again sometime.
Miranda: Oh, but you are. didn't Kim tell you?
Bella: There's a lot planned for me, so she hasn't gone into details yet. When am I working with you?
Miranda: On my show, iCarly. The episode is shooting next week, I think. You're doing a guest appearance on Zoey 101 too, and they'll air both episodes on the same night. Kinda like a Bella Santos night. *laughs*
Bella: Cool! I love both shows and that would be so much fun. I can't wait. *smiles and looks at her cell* oh, shoot. I'm sorry Miranda but I really have to go. I'm leaving for Vegas tomorrow on tour. But keep me posted on your album and I'll see you next week ohkay? *hugs her and leaves*
Bella gets home and immediately knocks out on her bed. Boy, is she in for a wild ride this summer.
