This is an unidentified creature in the gulf of Mexico. NOTE: This is not my original video, it was passed on to me by an associate who works or did work for Shell. (EDIT: Some have identified this as a Bigfin Squid)

Strange, but not unidentified. It's a Magnapinna squid. Can't identify it as to species, since you need to have the specimen in hand for that, but two species, M. atlantica and M. pacifica, are known to live in the Gulf of Mexico. They can grow up to 23 feet long, including the tentacles.
