I think if they said something like "Don't rule out a good thing for how it looks" instead of "Appearance can be deceiving" This ad wouldn't seem as racist as people put it out to be. I agree with Loodirros in that the ad isn't really racist, it's even pointing out the issues in society about racism.

Now for the video that some people think racist? The lady wasn't scared because he's black, you notice her reaction that she was ' arguing ' him because she think he's a ' pedophile ' , thinking why would a man give a girl a balloon for what reason? If the guy wore a company uniform, pushes a wagon with a pole, has balloons tied on the pole, has a helium tank and it says free balloons, would you take one from him?

This is not about racism, it's about a toothpaste that look different than any other toothpaste cause of it's darker color. So you have to say to yourself: would I want myself to brush my teeth with this paste? And not only that, but it's herbal. So the plant must be dark. That's why they did this commercial.

Well I don't think there's racist in Thailand. We had all kind of skin tone here :). Just the big black guy look scary that what I think.

Of course when I use the tooth paste for the first time I feel it's scary too! But actually it do like other tooth paste, though.
