u know
teh springfield m1903 was not a very good rifle
it had a problems like any rifle but
the main in my opinion were the sigths
well but still a good rifle
but the lee enfield mauser vergueiro, mauser 98k and other bolt ac. rifles were better

That's idiotic to say the M1903 was not a very good rifle. I've fired one they are very accurate and well built rifles. The sights depend on the model of the Springfield, the early ones had sights similar the Mauser rifles where the later ones had peepsights which most people consider very good.

I favor the scoped version over the original.

Ugh, almost everything you said was incorrect. The Sig 550 is a very accurate rifle, just ask the Swiss. The Sig 550 would actually be quite good in full auto, it weighs alot for a 5.56x45 rifle so it is controlable in full auto. The US DOES sell old M16's to other countries! Look at Israel, they have dozens of Vietnam era M16s. Countries tend to only have one infantry rifle today. They might give second like troops old rifles where the first line troops get the new rifles.

Ugh, if you evn bother to read, i said before that i confused 550 with the 552, also, yeah they do sell in israel and turkey since they own those countries with their americanization.

But they dont sell to european countries

the AK47 was adopted in 1950 but it was replaced by the AKM (Avtomat Kalashnikova Modernized) in 1960 and by the AK74 in 1975.
The m16 was adopted in 1960 and the m4 in 1995.
The gas-operated system that modern fireamrs use was introduced in 1905.
When people say AK47 they most likely mean AKM or AK74, which are newer than the m16

But you cannot argue that the AK series is infact older than the M16 series.

yes the first ak is older than the first m16, but the AK is a more advanced 4th generation
