Appalachian Trail 2011- Pre-Hike

First Appalatian Trail hike video to test phone cam and upload of videos to YouTube. Shot on the Ten Mile Greenway in Pawtucket.

Sorry for the video being sideways. Didn't notice until after upload. This is the first video shot on my brand new phone, so note to self, do not hold the phone upright when shooting video.

@kookiemoose I will absolutely be uploading videos as I hike. I planned on taking it easy the first couple of weeks since I started thinking about the hike. I have no schedule and no finish date planned. I'm just going to take it as it comes, take a few zero days in the woods, hike light and have fun.

Will you be uploading videos to this channel when possible as you make your way to Maine?

The hike itself will get you into shape. A lot of people start out in horrible shape. Take it easy at first, and before you know it you'll be putting down 20+ ml days consecutively. Less is more, and you will pick up on the fact that generally a thru hiker doesn't really need much to thru hike. Have a great hike, if it doesn't change your life you will be the first : )
