I went to Gay Pride Dallas this year...2006. I met 2 of the flaggers right after their performance. But, as always, I was too late. I missed their marching and flag performance. But I did get to talk with 2 of them. Thank you for your efforts. The rest of us are just supporting in a lazy way. You know, just watching or sending money. However, you guys are at the forefront....making it great for the rest of us. THANKS AND WE LOVE YOU.

the song is called "alive" by jennifer lopez. this is the remixed version. i like the song and this flagging video. i was just listening to the song and watching the screen when the words on the side of the parade float flashed by: Dallas Legal Hospice. my eyes watered up. i then realized that all the color and movement was very much alive.

i may not have been in the video, but i march and flag in Toronto's pride parades, and at many parties during the year and during Pride.. and Phillip, ( the hottie in the cowboy hat) has been a major inspiration in my life as a flagger. from his flag designs to his pictures, videos and his website. one of these daysi'll get to meet him hehe, i can't wait for that day.
