I am glad someone commented that the sound is a bit poor because I am having a hard time hearing it with full volume.

Thanks, this brings back good memories, saw her in Indy in Nov 1982 and it's hard to remember how she looked and sounded exactly, but this brings it all back. She is still one of my all time favorites, great voice, great person.

Because I'm a straight female! hahahaha but I always loved her music and her voice. I've always wanted to be like Amy Grant but the blonde hair and blue eyes, and 5' 2" height stopped me physically. I've always wished I had a voice like hers though. She is certainly one of a kind

This looks like '83 to me. Perhaps she did this just after she released the album but her face is a little fuller just like it was on the album cover for A Christmas Album..Love her to this day but when this was performed I was a baby!

I think '83 is correct. It's so funny to see the big change in those years.
Unfortunately, I don't have any Amy video. I do appreciate all the people who post them. So thanks a lot!

I think this is earlier than 1986. You can tell her style is not the same as that year. I'd say 1983 or '84. She wore her hair differently starting 1985 with the combs.

That's a good point. I looked back at my original recording and it was labeled 1985. I wonder what's right?

If you look at her and Gary's performance of this song on Johnny Carson - totally different look. That says '86 on there as well, which I'd guess is correct. Next time I Fall went #1 in '86 and looking at her duet w/ Peter on Solid Gold - same look.
Her clothes/hair on Merv here looks like '81 to me, which is impossible. lol

The Christmas Album came out in 83 and Merv is holding the LP so it has to be at least 83. I'm going to change it to 83. hey you don't have any Amy video from the old days do you?
