did u read the manual? the ix reduces its sensitivity greatly depending on your speed...soooo when you are stationary the detector doesn't detect buillshit.

love my 9500ix and v1 1.8 3.872 prefer ix because of fewer false....keep up the vids

I own a 9500ix and I'm very familar with its operation. The ix dials down the sensitivity based on speed. The fact that the vehicle is sitting still pretty much invalidates this test for the 9500. I would only consider getting rid of my ix for a V1 as those two are the best out there. The V1 shows you when it gets multiple signals and points to the direction they are coming from which is where its advantage is over the IX. I have had the IX save my ass from radar that was 2.5 miles away!

@claya91: what do you have to say to the people claiming that the sensitivity of the 9500ix changes with speed? That kind of makes sense that it wouldn't pick up anything when it knows that it's not moving.
