  • I am a good listener but also a very visual person. I'm sorry but this whole decor with the alter, candles, flowers in the background and the sofa cover tickles my funny bone....LOL

  • THANK YOU, Dr. Paul!

I made the first step - I stopped interrupting.

I let the person finish, and then I paraphrase what she(he) says or ask a question based on what she said.

It works wonders! Everybody wants to talk to me now!

  • but some people have mouths bigger than their ears :O

  • God told me that you talk too much.

  • i got distracted and didn't listen to what he was saying . shows how great of a listener i am(:

  • This is terrible. Did you know that a survey of people listening to conversations, when the woman was talking the majority said she dominated the conversation even if the man talked more. This is the author of 'boomer girl's guide to men' and let him tell you how to listen. A man I know paraphrases what was said, so now a bad idea was stated twice. Doesn't help anything!

  • Listen to Dr. Paul!

  • I have to start taking notes!

  • You say we should think about using our ears more than our mouths...

If everyone did this, we wouldn't have such a sociable world, now would we?

  • that presidential example had nothing to do with listening lol
