That went on forever! All I wanted to do was find out what happened on the first night of ITV, not hear a load of history that I don't need to know right now. Last time I watch ITV!

What a load of old guff TV was in them days... but present day TV is much MUCH worse....

This occured on the very day I was born! Marconi also broadcast for the first time ever on 9-22-1896! Found that out when I was in college.

@AnfieldRed10 Very true. The demise of ITV can be traced to the day Thames Television lost its franchise. ITV1 is very much fuckwit TV as it stands today.
