@MegaStayFly 1: Restoring the device basically restores the device's factory settings back to the time where it was first used.
2: I'm not sure if the 3G iPT is shipped with 3.1.2 firmware; if not, then Update via iTunes.
3: No. BlackRa1n does it for you.

ipodtouchhelper1 3 questions.......

What does it mean to restore ur ipod touch does it mean when you plug it in you download an update or something?

2nd does the 3g(touch)come with 3.1.2 firmware if not what do i do?

3rd do i have to absolutely have to put the device in DFQ mode cuz some other jailbreaks dont do that
