Iron sight ranges out to 1000 meters, love the Russian optimism of their shotgun! (-:

@marr146 The Saiga-12 is the civilian/sporting version, whereas the KS-K is the military version. Both versions are explained in detail on the official Izhmash webpage: izhmash.ru/eng/product/weapon.

I thought this guy was saying "Short Gun"...thought its a variant like AK-103...I see that this is a Shotgun... LOL

haha at 0:45 the video goes into reverse when he puts the magazine back in. I was wondering why it sounded strange.

@Schultz98 (continuation of the last post) Either way, I'm not arguing with you, and sincerely, I do not give a damn. This is just the handguard, expendable and easily replaced, totally unnecessary for weapon functioning. My first comment was to inform mr whomever, that the Soviets started producing weapons with polymer furniture as early as in the sixties (when the US stuck to the M14, and the M16 wasn't planned for yet).

@Schultz98 Do I have to explain myself? I've never been a fan of Krinks, they never got my attention. Some of the later Russian AKMs had bakelite furniture, as had most AK-74s. I never figured that a later design such as the AKS-74U would have a plywood handguard (which is simply more expensive than plain wood or bakelite). Maybe the reason for this is the small amount of Krinks produced (in relevance to all AK production), where making molds for polymer parts would be a waste of money.
best shotgun i saw so far :)
