Why wouldn't you just feed less processed food? A large cat should really be on a canned or raw diet, and fed 2 daily. It would be best to let that food process and to be absorbed in the body over the day. If you let food sit out all day, that really never gives them time to digest. Even doing a kibble in the morning, then a canned or raw at night would benefit greatly. Canned and raw our easily digested and kibble is great in the morning to let process over the day.
Less processed is THE KEY!
