  • its fucked up. I did it one time to get high to see just how bad it was. its sad that peoples lives are that bad that they do that to get high. I had a teacher in highschool who talked about living on a native american reserve and talked about how they would drink scope to get drunk because alchol is illegal because indians have no tolerance.

  • the meryl streep incident is immortal

  • LOVE Herzog in that film..."its too artsy fartsy" with his accent brilliant! he made that movie

  • Herzog was fantastic in that movie. "I don't want all this plastic in my garden, and DO YOU FEEL LIKE A WEINER!?"

  • I understand Bruce LaBruce's contributions to film, etc. but he really seems pretentious and uninspired in this interview. His observations, all across the board, are nothing insightful at all. Sounds like the dude just walked out of a semester of CINE 101

  • Maybe thats why he had Wernor Herzog driking the robutussin DM, they actually make it a point to get a close-up of the label, i.e., notice it said DM, thats the OTC brand that people trip off of though in the Harnony interview I read that he orders the powdered synthetic DXM rather than the OTC's. which can sometimes contain other drugs in them. Only kow this because I went trhough this whole Hunter S. Thiompson period and Kerouak and Ginbergh and man

  • I have to admit that I am a fan of his work. I agree he does eem quite out of it BUT I read an interview with him where he stated he was occassional user of DXM oe dextromethorphan, quite possibly the greatest observational drug.

  • The interview is rough, but its got some good bits in there (his reaction to the streep episode tells me that me was maybe a little sheepish depsite his defense - i can't help but wonder what she said exactly!) and I'd rather see him talk to this guy than Letterman. To be fair, Korine seems just as incoherent and aloof in person as he does through his work. Not to sell his stuff short -- I like his brand of messy. But he seems like a tough cadet to wrangle down to earth.

  • an ego's death for an artist imo, and death for a good interview

y do shitty interviewers always stick to their stupid research and questions instead of going with the flow of the actual freakin artist u r inteviewing?! ..and what kind of name is Bruce laBruce? lol

  • The interviwer sucks he is an idiot! Talks more than Korine.
