I thought Season 1 of Lois and Clark was good but then it went down hill with the relationship stuff. Very much like Smallville, sadly.

Yeah, it's made for some interesting comedy in Smallville for example.

It did absolutely NOT suck 20 years ago, when it came out. It was really HIP at the time, and the special effects were state of the art as far as TV was concerned.

I've always thought the same. I like Lois and Clark ... have 'em all on DVD but Superboy was better IMHO. There was more action in the first 5 mins of this show than an hour of Lois and Clark. Superman is about ACTION ... not Drama :D
