Curator Garth Johnson spends two days "in-residence" at Museum of Contemporary Craft to discuss his selections for the exhibition Era Messages and their context within the Museum collection.
Garth Johnson is a crafter, writer, and educator. He is the proprietor of Extreme Craft and author of 1000 Ideas for Creative Reuse: Remake, Restyle, Recycle, Renew and ReVision: Recycled Crafts for Earth-Friendly Living. Johnson received a BFA from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and an MFA from Alfred University.
