For more than ten years, Mayo Clinic neurosurgeon Robert Spinner, M.D., has been on a quest to identify the cause and best treatment of intraneural ganglion cysts. These rare cysts form within nerves, causing symptoms such as motor loss, sensory abnormality or pain.

  • Spinner was an ass to me and I'm an RN.

I was diagnosed with "idiopathic neuropathy" at Mayo.

I begged him to do an MRI on my kegs but he wouldn't. He said these things "just happen". I find it ironic he goes on here

    I left Mayo.

I met Dr. Omlie in Minneapolis. HE did an MRI

Omlie said ":you have extreme functional popliteal neuropathy....I can treat this"

I lost almost everything due to Mayo Clinics egotistical docs....my job, my house and my fiance. The pain was amazing-quite exquisite.AVOID

  • @edmonddantes64 I'm sorry your experience at Mayo Clinic was unsatisfactory. We have an Office of Patient Affairs, and if you wish, you can call 507-284-4988.

  • DISCONNECTING IT, how do you go about doing that? is it done with laser?

  • Has anyone checked out the chemical composition of this ganglia? I'd sure like to know what it is and what causes it to form.

  • I've got a nasty cyst on my right wrist, about the size of a large gumball. I've had it for about four months and it has never bothered me but today the pain was so bad when I woke up. I agree with the comment below, people like you should get a lot more recognition and appreciation.

  • I love it: obsession, not just passion, about intraneural cyst formation!

"Obsession", by Dr. Spinner. Watch out, Calvin Klein.

You had to entice your wife to Paris for a weekend? Even with the thrill of a seeing an intraneural nerve cyst specimen? What the heck is wrong with her? hahahahahahahaha

No, thank you for your dedication and work, people like you should get a lot more recognition and appreciation!
