Several other folks from the Erie PA region also traveled to DC, including Ted Smith and his partner, Marc Holland, as well as Ted's parents, Bill and Fran.

From Ted Smith and Marc Holland: Marc and I have been together for almost seven years, had a commitment ceremony in 2006 and were joined for the March by my parents Fran and Bill. They are wonderful, supporting parents and always have been. In August we were home at their house and talking about the march and going. My mom said it might be a fun thing to do. And my Dad looked at her and said, Well Fran, why dont we go with them! WHAT LOVE! It was a great weekend.
