Wow, you are on the ball. I posted that seven months ago. You been asleep at the wheel? Peace to you and Merry Christmas.

@jbfane No one said to burn living old grouth trees ! Dead trees and lumber scraps and trees grown for wood are a renewable resource. And wood gas properly filtered then burned is cleaner than fossil fuel. Water and sun are pipe dreams. But wood has worked since before WW2. And you could burn the hemp instead of wood.

@notoriouslizw I know right ! And yet at the start of the video this guy claims this car has the land speed recored for wood gas at forty somthing MPH ?

My husband was fascinated by this car... after seeing the video, now I know why he thought it was so cool!

Wow! I've never heard of this, but it makes sense.

This thing is truly the ultimate answer to Petrol whether you want to accept it or not when there isn't any gas to be had your gonna wish you had made the conversion and besides they didn't change the engine whatsoever so until that doomsday you would have the option of pulling into the pump and spending three times more on fuel than is already necessary. Do your research, Do the math

Come on people, this thing will run on shit! Seriously any biological matter really. Were talking about Gasification which means cooking the carbon and hydrogen out of any thing that will burn by oxidizing it within a vacuum chamber cooling the volatiles then filtering out the particulate waste re-adding oxygen and burning the remixed vapor again I know it doesn't sound sanitary but with very little effort we could recycle our own crap to be an even more efficient fuel than wood pellets.

No. A car that runs on wood is not green. Oh yea, let's go chop down all the trees to run cars. There are cars that run on water, there are cars that run on hemp, cars that run on sunlight; we don't need to use up trees to run cars.
I must respectfully disagree. This particular vehicle is far greener than any other tech you mentioned. There are no cars that run on water. Hemp has to be grown the same as wood, and cars that run on sunlight are probably 50 years or more away.
This vehicle runs on wood pellets, which are a recycled byproduct of wood mills and paper making. This would also run on grass pellets, for example, switch grass, without any needs for processing other than drying and compacting into pellets.

A million vehicles during WW2 ran on wood gas.
