Formed in 2006, Waking The Cadaver quickly went to work at producing some of the most blatantly heavy music combining the most furious of death metal, grind, and hardcore all in one unique display of power, catchiness, and aggression to be known as "Slamming Gore Groove". After releasing their self titled 2 song demo in 2006, Waking The Cadaver didn't hesitate tearing apart their home state of New Jersey and recieved good response. Ultra-violence amongst many, a Waking The Cadaver show is entertainment not to be missed, in which the crowd has no choice other than chaos. In late 2007 the debut album "Perverse Recollections of a Necromangler", was released on Necrohamonic Records. On this debut Waking The Cadaver not only proved to critics that their music is a force to be reckoned with, but also proved that they strive to be the next level of brutality. Looking in the future, the band plans on touring relentlessly to crush the world with their live performance, and release album after album to claim and defend the heavyweight championship belt.

WTF is with you people? First off, what is wrong with old WTC? Its pretty damn good Slamming Death Metal. And they don't have shredded wheat lyrics, thats just a tards joke video that apparently got the best of you fuckers. They have lyrics about torture, blood, sex among other fucked up shit. And enough with the pig squeal bullshit. It started in DEATH METAL/GOREGRIND shit. Dying fetus is a good example. Then Despised Icon started it in Deathcore and BOOM! All deathcore bands start using it.

@theblizzard32 well i mean, i listen to alot of pointless gore too. like Romepeprop, gutteral secrete, flesh consumed, katalepsy etc. iunno.

i came off like i was hating, but i'm impressed that these guys aren't one of my most hated bands anymore.

but there inhale vocals and constant breakdowns in the old stuff annoyed the crap out of me. gore is supposed to be like an abstract art. i just didn't really find their lyrics amusing.

Here's a question, all of you that hate this band, how did you get to this page in the first place? I don't make it a habit of listening to music i dont like. Save your breath, listen to whatever bullshit you like, it's not needed/wanted here. Imo, waking the cadaver has been one of my favorite bands for years. Since they were just another band on myspace and purevolume with a dream. Before they ever even had CDs. Everyones got their own opinion.

@theblizzard32 I am a huge fan of brutal death metal (even though WTC are actually not fully brutal death lol), and I must say, while their first release was entertaining, it was very mediocre. This sounds a lot better imo.

This seems like a more sincere effort than their previous work, but these guys still eat dick. Hopefully their tour bus (or windowless van) careens into a shark tank.
