On 24 September 2007, Anno's Africa held an art exhibition of paintings and monoprints by the children of the Majengo slum, which raised over $40,000 towards next year's arts project in Nairobi. Part 1 features the exhibition and guests, Part 2 is Bee's speech about the project, and Part 3 is a performance by Lulu, Billy Scherer and Johnny Borrell.

  • Good effort.I hope it will help lot of people in Africa.Thank you for sharing.

  • very interesting thanks

  • This kind of manifestation is very important because made by childrens.I recognized allan Rickman and too Jane Birkin and her daughter Lou Doillon-people with a big charisma.

    Many Thanks.

  • What an awesome night this must have been! Ah, the envy i feel for flies on the wall, but it's so wonderful all the sharing a camera can do! Not only to hear the many hearts, but seeing all those art pieces right there. All these faces that let out voices, and the children near though so far away. All this reaching out to one another - to dark matter, just like Anno would reach out to the light.

  • yep.

  • Is that Alan Rickman at 5.05?
