I think Damon is actually a better person than Stefan. Look at them side by side when they are on human blood. Damon doesnt often kill people (ok in the beginning he kills people, but thats before elena) and he would never hurt the person he loves. He spent 146 years trying to rescue the person he loves. Stefan is just like "Im gonna get me some blood!" and doesnt care who he hurts. He turned Damon, when Damon told him he wanted to die. Damon never wanted to be what he is.

@trisana13 the situation is different. Damon, after 146 years of "human blood" , can control himself, Stefan was at the beginning and he just can't. Stefan was / is "vegetarian" and i repeat, the situation is DIFFERENT.

"Stefan: Is that your choice, then? To die?

Damon: Isn't it yours? This was all to be with Katherine. SHE'S GONE. I WANT IT OVER. "

So isn't because he didnt want to be a monster as you said xD

I love this video!!! Great job guyes!!! I don't see how there can even be a choice, I would take one look in Ian's (Damon's) eyes and be a goner!!! Plus everytime Stefan is too busy being extra brutey, because he is a Vampire and all, Damon is there to pick up where he drops the ball and be there for Elena. Damon embraces what he is and uses that to his advantage.
