John's van was Overhauled by Chip Foose and the A Team thanks to his lovely daughter Dani. John and the family came out to the Donut Derelict Cruise in Huntington Beach on St Patty's Day 2007 to hang out with 15 other van owners.

  • The van is a 1976 Chevy. The Overhaulin episode was in season 3. Here are some details : Episode 16: That 70's Van

Back in 1976, he bought his van brand new and adored it. Today, he focuses on family and friends and has put the van aside. He is always quick to help family and friends, so his daughter thinks it's about time that they did something special for him.

  • ppl on here always tryna make sum bdy sound dumb lol ya'll crack me up, bt i like the van, i dnt hate on sumbodys taste, its unique, thats the whole point of customizing

  • lol i don't RANDOM FUCK

  • I loved that show.

  • This was by far our favorite episode of OverHaulin'. We wish they would do more conversion vans. (there is just so much you can do with them). The episode was HEAVY on the, 'groovy dude, it's like, the 70's man, ...' over and over- it was funny - but there is / are more themes to conversion vans than that. ;) Hope to see more (muscle cars every episode does get stale). Thanks.

  • @bptaylor11 who said we were arguing?

  • @salemcripple I'm not sure really what we are arguing about and I thought I was pretty clear with my serial killer comment that I was mostly joking around. Van is a van, car is a car. Souping up a van or a truck doesn't make it a muscle car.

I just don't like vans. Sorry if that offends you.

  • @bptaylor11 They're more muscle car than 95% of everything on the road (excluding real muscle cars and such). And they're deff the "mucle" of the van class. I've seen street legal custom vans that could pull 10 second quarter miles. But if you read my previous comment, you'd notice that i wasn't really calling this a muscle car. And serial killers are just as likely to drive anything else, as they are a van!

  • @salemcripple It's not a muscle car, it's a van. Serial killers drive these things. :)

  • i saw this episode courtesy of netflix

  • @rhoejaqueswift yeah, but EVERY american muscle car, custom, or other has cragers on it. It's gotten to the point in my opinion where it's over done. Like lambo doors on imports, it's just become a bad cliche.
