Meet Mary: Kidney Transplant Recipient

Mary learned at an early age how important it is to be involved in her health care. When she learned she needed a transplant, she gathered lots of information to help her make informed decisions. Since undergoing a successful transplant surgery, Mary has become passionate about organ and tissue donation. She emphasizes the importance of taking your health seriously and developing a good relationship with your transplant team.
