Live in London, in 1983.

CRAZY ARMS:
"Crazy Arms" is an American country song recorded by Ray Price. The song, released in the late spring of 1956, went on to become a massive hit that summer and a honky-tonk standard.

Jerry Lee Lewis recorded Crazy Arms in December 1956, in Sun Records. It was his first record and his first hit.

  • No doubt about it. Carve it in stone. Jerry Lee Lewis is the greatest vocal and piano act of all time, ever, in the entire past, present, and future history of this universe and all others that may or may not be out there.

  • Extraordinary shot of the piano solo. Very unusual to get this viewpoint of Jerry's piano playing, i.e. to see both hands clearly. Talk about getting around the piano with an audacious completeness. You don't usually get to really see his left hand moves too often.

I believe Jerry's playing would have even put a smile on Chopin's face, if not for musical content, at least for the joy of playing the instrument with such passion, freedom and confidence!

  • Jerry Lee is one of the most underrated country singer of all time. He is know for his rock stuff, but his country is so much better.

  • I agree with Jerlan23. Best of all I like his mature voice on this song.

  • @jerlan23 No need! I have everything... Keith Richards said it best (doesn't he always?) "Jerry Lee? He's a staple like daily bread."
