@adil5131 .... it's not to big to fail. It's too big for our needs. Federal operations should not be exempt from restructuring, especially when technology makes them obsolete. Mail is an environmentally poor choice for communication. 99% of my mail is junk mail I never read.... printed on dead trees, delivered by a gas burning truck, hauled away by a gas burning truck, and dumped into a landfill. With email, I click and delete, and it's gone.

USPS needs a serious restructuring, just like any other common sense business facing deprecation and obsolescence. Why should it be exempt? Technological progress brings change. Embrace it and retrain for the 21st century.

@adil5131 You are 100% right. I'm a 21 year carrier and this manufactured crisis is sickening. Obama needs to step up for the post office the way he is with his jobs bill. The real truth needs to be heard by all.

The USPS has been suffering since the introduction of the Postal Accountability and Enhancement Act in 2006 by Congress. The U.S. president and Congress have to intervene to modify this Act and help this old and important organization get healthy again. The USPS is too big to fail.

Usps deals with fed x and ups.. They are doing fine yet we ship mass packages for both of them and the usps is not federally ran..get a clue do the research
