Elvis could do no wrong when he captured the essence of a beautiful ballad, such as this one. His voice was meant for songs like this, but he could sing ANYTHING. RIP Elvis....Love you

I have only one complaint about THE MAN. I am 58 years old. When I was younger I listened to a wide range of music, soul, rock, country, classical, ballads, many individual artists, many good songs, sinatra, dylan, jackson. Elvis was always my number one. As I have got older , as each day passes my appreciation/obsession has become more intense - now I don't listen to anybody except the king. There's no point. So, basically he has restricted my range. I love every minute, wouldn't change a thing

So you were away from America on Jan.14, 1973. That night was my first time I listened to this song from Elvis. Also Sprach Zarathustra started at 07:33:40pm in Japan when I was 27. As we had no colour television, my wife and I, with 29 day baby boy, went to stay over night at the city hotel.

I'm 62...an Elvis super fan since 1964. Now I take Voice classes. My Instructor once sang with the Mormon Tabernackle Choir. He constantly references Elvis..and in a positive way. EP could sing in any genre, convincingly. even take junk and turn it into a gem.
