In my view the professional university singer education is dominated by ultra conservative idiots who destruct any lovely or natural expressive human voice and creating inhuman voice monsters with such inhuman exercices. I performed this song many years ago. Brilliant track. So much passion, and the many characters of the song make it so entertaining. The narrator, the father, the son, the Erlking. Just an amazing piece of music. Beautiful and terrifying.
