For the uninitiated the Smart Car is just that . . .
Smart . . .
It drives great can be driven at sppeds of 100 mph - do it with regularity - is safe to drive - pass transports and be passed by transports with no issues.
Has great gas mileage and 90% of the time most people only have one person in the car when drivng.
Fact is you can own a family vehicle like a van and two smart cars for the price of 2 SUV's and save on fuel, insurance and general operating costs & the enviroment.

I like your statements about the smart car. I also have a dodge quad Dakota and only use it for camping and hauling stuff or people. I use my smart car for all of our commuting needs. Getting 40 mpg sure helps when gas is close to $4 a gallon. Thanks for your comment ! Jim "the smart car guy".
