Are you studying another language? Or are you from another country living in an English speaking country? If you are using Windows 7 Ultimate you can change the default display language Windows 7 uses! This is a simple tutorial on how to do it. We change the default language to Russian and we also show you how to change the default keyboard to Russian so you can type in it as well.

  • Are you using Windows 7 Ultimate version?

  • how to add display language ??????

  • @Scorpionn777 - YouTube won't let me post a link, but Microsoft has a page on its site where you can see all the language packs available for Vista and Windows 7 as well as download them. It's title is:

"Download languages for Windows - Get languages for Windows 7 and Windows Vista"

A google search should help you find it.

  • @kellyandmew - I've never purchased a computer overseas before. If it doesn't work the same way as my US version I'd be afraid to comment. I know Microsoft sells OEM versions of Windows in other languages in other countries. I would have assumed it would work the same way, but I just don't know for sure. Any Chinese friends you could ask?

  • Glad it helped. I use Camtasia for the Mac. All of my videos are done in VMWare Fusion virtual machines on Macs. I use a Blue Snowball for voice. I tried using Microsoft's Expression product to do them, but the filesize was huge and the quality didn't seem to be as good.

  • Hello

I just had to buy a laptop in Europe and the OS was the home edition in French with no way to reinstall it in English. So I went ahead and bought online the upgrade to ultimate.

But without your directions; I would not have been able to find the way on how to do what you have explained so well.

    Many thanks
