Vote for Honor (part 1)

Before the election period (President and Local) Polio Plus together with the Trade union EGALITE for person with disability provide a series of activities in the frame of the project Vote for Honor This project was designed to improve the understanding and participation of persons with disabilities in the electoral process, (enjoying passive and active voting rights as their basic human rights), throw creating favorable conditions to exercise their voting rights as equal citizens.

This project used participative and innovative methods to engage and to open the question about the voting rights of persons with disability. A range of multi media resources were produced to profile educates and supports the self esteem in the election period.

For the first time in Macedonian elections history the candidates (presidential and candidates foe Meyers) has debates with the people with disability, where personally can hear the problems and expectation from people with disability. Their views and promises regarding disability issue is documented in the documentary movie named: The right for vote and people with disability.
